My Grandfather was a quiet man and I hardly know any details about him. I love him a great deal but he just does not willingly give up information about himself.
Reccently in one of those rare moments he told me something personal.
He was a Paratrooper in the 11 devison airbourne and he was stationed in Japan during WW2.
I am very proud to hear that. I always thought my grandfather was the toughest person and it doesnt surprize me it all that he was able to jump out of planesduring the war.
I hope to ask him more questions this week when I meet him for lunch. His mind is as sharp as a tack but he is just not one to indulge in emotions.
I would love to know any information that others might have about him with out knowing.
